About Todd Thurman...

In 2017, Todd Thurman Founded Swine Insights International, (formerly SwineTex Consulting Services) a swine management consultancy focused on helping clients improve the efficiency and profitability of their operations. Prior to that, he amassed more than 18 years of valuable experience in the corporate agriculture sector working for and collaborating with large scale pork producers and agriculture companies around the world. 

He has worked in over 17 countries around the world including living in Russia for two years and part time in China for almost a decade. He also has significant experience in Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa in addition to his native North America. 

Leveraging this global perspective, Mr. Thurman enriches his speaking engagements with thoughtful commentary and actionable insights. His areas of expertise encompass a broad spectrum of agricultural topics, including but not limited to, the future of agriculture and the ramifications of demographic shifts and population decline on the industry.

When not traveling the world consulting, speaking and training, Todd can be found at his home in his native Texas on his small acreage near Fort Worth where he raises cattle, goats and chickens with his wife, Tisha and their two daughters, Marlee and Kinslee.
